Our Mission:

To Glorify God and help others personally know and grow in Jesus Christ!

Our Vision:

We endeavor to reach those no longer excited by the traditonal church ritual and desire a more participatory worship environment. At The House of Worship believers have liberty to worship and praise our Lord as directed by the Holy Spirit in accordance to His word of God.

We seek a church where each believer is equipped, encouraged and allowed to both minister and be ministered to according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.



Our History

The House of Worship (HOW) is the manifested vision God gave Minister Tony Collins during his tenure as an Associate Minister of a local church. Through a series of confirming events, prayer, counseling, and Bible Study, Minister Collins yielded to and announced his calling in July 2004.

Although, some people did not understand and tried to convince Minister Collins to wait, he pressed on in obedience to Christ's calling on his life. Little did he know, God had impressed the same vision upon a handful of others around him. With God's leading, and the support of his, as well as, four other Christian families, The House of Worship opened its doors on Sunday, October 3, 2004. to a racially and socioeconomically diverse crowd of 114 people.

Desiring a place where Biblically based worship is embraced in life and service, The House of Worship seeks to help all mankind break the bonds of sin. We follow the Holy Spirit, worship Christ, and live according to the Bible. Through making disciples, evangelizing the lost, genuine fellowship, and loving leadership, we will impact our community, nation and world for Jesus Christ!
