THE HOUSE OF WORSHIP

"A Place For All People...Really!"

Warm greetings and thank you for visiting our website. In Galatians 3:28, Jesus Christ tells us through His prophet, the Apostle Paul that "there is neither Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus." Christ died on the cross for our "ONENESS". First for us to have oneness with Him and the Father and then for us to have oneness as the body, the Church of Jesus Christ.

Our Savior Himself prayed for unity and oneness in the church body. He prayed this prayer right before going to the cross. So, why do we find ourselves seperated by racial, denominational and socioeconomic lines in the House of the Lord? Therefore, at The House of Worship we purpose to bring all people together into the family of faith.  For this reason, we incorporate various types of music into worship services, as well as, promote programs and ministries that both interest and meet the needs of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. In addition, we seek to fellowship with area ministries crossing denominational, socioeconomic, life position and racial boundaries. That is why The House of Worship is "A Place For All People...Really!"

The worship of Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth, is our first priority. Our congregation is made up of many different types of people who share together in a diverse Christian Church Family. The House of Worship is a very caring congregation that strongly believes in reaching out beyond themselves to spread and apply the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Here you will find a warm welcome and an ample opportunity to grow in your relationship with Jesus and His Church. I am blessed to be able to pastor such a wonderful church family.

If you are seeking a church home, it is important that you know that everyone is welcome here, regardless of ethnicity, social standing or financial position. We ask you to prayerfully consider being our guest and becoming a part of this family of believers, through which Christ is performing many signs and wonders. We offer you the opportunity to help us build that which is unique, not only in Oak Ridge, but in the Kingdom - a truly diverse church that is standing on the Word of God, where the power of God is visually evident, thereby validating the presence of God.

We pray to worship with you soon. We ask the God of all creation to bless and keep you to the glory of God the Father, which is shown perfectly in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Daily Manna from the Net for Saturday, May 19, 2012 [Psalm 17:1-8]
A prayer of David. Hear me, LORD, my plea is just; listen to my cry. Hear my prayer--it does not rise from deceitful lips. Let my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right. Though you probe my heart, though you examine me at night and test me, you will find that I have planned no evil; my mouth has not transgressed. Though people tried to bribe me, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent through what your lips have commanded. My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not stumbled. I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings Psalm 17:1-8 NIV Listen
